Iroko TV app Boss Mr Jason Njoku has tendered an apology to Igbo people over a comment he made in the past and also thank them for saving his app from being delected on playstore.

Recall that some Northern youths had mobilised to report the app in retaliation after Google deleted Adamu Garba’s Crowwe from Play Store.

A Nigerian man in a Twitter post alerted Njoku of the plot as he shared screenshots from a Facebook page, where the group hatched the plot.

Not long after, the bad reviews began pouring in.

However, some Igbos while pointing out that Njoku had degraded the Igbo language months ago, said that despite his comments they would still rally round to counter the bad reviews with positive reviews.

They kept true to their words and this spurred the Iroko TV boss to apologise over his past comment and show appreciation.
