As declared by 17 Southern Governors in their joint meeting on 11 of May 2021 placed a ban on open grazing in the whole of southern part of Nigeria. Eastern Security Network ESN has taken upon themselves to enforce the ban.
As we all know, Fulani herdsmen has caused so much havoc with their cattle in recent years.It has been established that the herders parades with AK47 riffles, and in many occasions kill villagers who challenged them on the reason they should graze on their farms.
Forcefully grabbing of people’s land, abducting and raping women by these herders has been the order of the day.
