The Delta State Police Command said on Tuesday that it had arrested over 100 suspected homosexuals who were attending a gay wedding ceremony in a Delta State hotel.

Delta state Police command paraded the gay suspect on Tuesday at the state Police headquarters Asaba.
The couple, Daniel Pius’m’ (the groom) and Maxwell Ohwonowho (the bride), were being married at the Teebulus Hotel on Refinery Road in Ekpan.

Since the Nigerian government passed the anti-gay law in 2014, security personnel have detained and paraded individuals who they suspect to be homosexuals.
A viral video showing the suspects has also surfaced on social media.
