MacEwan University is offering different types of scholarships to domestic and international students. Following are the scholarships offered by MacEwan University, Canada:
For Domestic students:
MacEwan University awards Automated Entrance Scholarships to domestic students based on the following criteria:
- Chancellor’s Scholarship: 95-100% achievement, valued at $5,000.
- President’s Scholarship: 90-94.99% achievement, valued at $3,000.
- Provost’s Scholarship: 85-89.99% achievement, valued at $2,000.
- Dean’s Scholarship: 80-84.99% achievement, valued at $1,000.
For International students:
- President’s Scholarship: The scholarship amount is $8,000-$12,000. In order to be eligible for President’s Scholarship Program students must have 90-94.99% or AGPA of 3.90-3.99.
- Provost’s Scholarship: The scholarship amount is $6,000-$10,000. In order to be eligible for Provost’s Scholarship program student must have obtained 85-89.99% or an AGPA of 3.70-3.89.
- Dean’s Scholarship: The scholarship amount is $4,000-$8,000. In order to be eligible for Dean’s Scholarship program student must have obtained 80-84.99% or an AGPA of 3.50-3.69.
- Chancellor’s Scholarship: The scholarship amount is $10,000-$14,000. In order to be eligible for Chancellor’s Scholarship program student must have obtained 95-100% or AGPA higher than 3.99.
Eligibility Criteria:
- The student must be an international student.
- Students must get registered in an undergraduate degree program for 12 credits per term in each of the Fall and Winter terms.
- Students must have excellent academic results.
- Students must have completed high school and must provide a high school certificate.
- After completion of the degree program, students must return to their home country.
- The scholarship will be awarded once in a lifetime.
- The scholarship will be awarded to students depending on the funds available.
How to Apply:
Students do not need to apply separately for scholarship application at MacEwan University. International students will automatically be considered for the scholarship program and will be notified via email.
Deadline:
The application deadline for the MacEwan University Scholarship Program for the current academic calendar is August 31, 2024. The application deadline for next year 2025 is September 1, 2024 – August 31, 2025.
