The case involving Yoruba nation agitator, Sunday Adeyemo, popularly known as Sunday Igboho, is expected to be heard at the Cour D’Appel De Cotonou, in Benin Republic, today, Friday, July 23.
After a prolonged hearing on Thursday, Igboho was returned to the custody of Brigade Criminelle in Cotonou, while the court ordered Igboho’s wife released and her passport returned to her.
The court is expected to rule on the merits or otherwise of the international arrest warrant for Igboho. The judgment will determine if he will be extradited to Nigeria or not.
