A policeman identified as Sergeant Ibrahim Odege and one Sampson Inomoghe, have been arrested after they were caught robbing people at Elekahia Housing Estate over the weekend.
The Spokesman of the command, Nnamdi Omoni, who confirmed the incident in a statement said the police officer is attached to the Operations Department of the command.
He said the Commissioner of Police has ordered that they be transferred to the State Criminal Investigation Department for investigation.
He added that exhibits recovered from them include three different handsets belonging to their victims and one locally-made Beretta pistol.
