An Appeal Court in Port Harcourt has set aside the judgment of the Federal High Court presided over by Justice Emmanuel Obile which nullified all APC candidates in Rivers State over their alleged non-compliance to the new electoral act.

The three-man panel of the appeal in their judgment delivered by the lead Judge, Justice Muhammed Lawal-Shuaibu said George-Orlu and five others did not exhaust their internal party mechanism before instituting the suit.
The court also held that they did not participate in the congress of the APC as such do not have any cause of action.
