Anti-Islam extremist Salwan Momika, known for burning the Quran several times, was shot dead in Sweden.
Momika, 38, was shot dead in an apartment in the town of Södertälje, near Stockholm, while she was live-streaming on TikTok and burning a Quran. His body was recovered by police. The identity of the assailant has not yet been revealed.
Last year, he said he has received several death threats from muslims worldwide.
The Swedish police have arrested five individuals in connection with the shooting. This incident follows Momika’s series of public protests which had previously sparked widespread international controversy and discussions on freedom of expression versus religious respect.
