The METI Government of Japan Internship 2026 is a fully funded opportunity for international students to gain hands-on experience and training in Japanese companies. This internship is offered by Japan’s Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI), providing undergraduate and graduate students from OECD/DAC countries to do internship in Japan. For METI internship, no IELTS is required, and there is no application fee. In 2026, METI will select 80 interns to be placed in various host companies across Japan for a six-week internship. Scholarship Value/ Inclusions for METI Government of Japan Internship
Training for Interns:

You must be able to fully participate in and commit to the entire internship schedule.
