The Head Coach of the Nigeria Women’s Team, Samuel Ajayi, revealed a diverse squad for the African Games Qualifiers, encompassing players from U-17, U-19, and U-20 age groups.
The 12-player team, led by captain Ijeoma Ukpabi and assistant captain Jumia Bitrus, aims to secure qualification and win a medal at the upcoming African Games in Ghana. The squad includes players like Sharon Achi, Aliyah Usman, Maryam Ibrahim, and others.
The qualifiers are scheduled to take place from January 4 to January 8 at the National Stadium Surulere, Lagos.
