Galatasaray achieved a convincing 3–0 win against Ajax at the Johan Cruyff Arena, with Victor Osimhen taking center stage by netting a hat-trick, which included two penalties.

The Turkish team was in control throughout the match, effectively quieting the home crowd with a decisive performance that left Ajax struggling to find their footing.
Osimhen kicked off the scoring in the 59th minute, driving home a powerful header from a cross by Leroy Sané, breaking the deadlock after a tense first half.

He then increased the lead in the 66th minute by converting a penalty after Youri Baas was penalized for handling the ball in the box.
Galatasaray continued to apply constant pressure, leading to a second penalty in the 78th minute, which Osimhen successfully converted after another handball, this time by Gerald Alders, completing his hat-trick and securing the resounding victory.Although Ajax had a few scoring opportunities, particularly through Oscar Gloukh and Mika Godts, they were unable to capitalize, thanks to Galatasaray’s solid defense.
On this memorable night, Osimhen made history by becoming only the second Nigerian player to score a hat-trick in the UEFA Champions League at the Johan Cruyff Arena in Amsterdam.
