Over 23 Nigerian army personnel were slain after gunmen suspected of being Boko Haram terrorists ambushed a military convoy in Niger State.
The incident happened at 5 a.m. on Monday, according to military sources.
According to the report, among the victims were an army major and two lieutenants, one of whom was named as Y. Alkali.
