Suspected armed robbers yesterday 05/08/2021 attacked two different banks in Iree community in Osun state.
Africhome News Team gathered that the armed, robbers, who arrived the banks located within the same location around 3:50 pm on Thursday were said to have operated for about 15 minutes before leaving the scene.
Confirming the urgly incident, an eyewitnesses said that the robbers were shooting sporadically into the air while escaping through Iree-Ada road, while one person was reportedly killed by a stray bullet during the robbery incident.
Meanwhile, Spokesperson of the Osun State Police Command, SP Yemisi Opalola confirmed the incident and disclosed that police have been deployed to the scene.
