Bankole Oginni, a football coach, was detained on Sunday in Ondo by members of the Ondo State Police Command on suspicion of k*lling his Ex-girlfriend.
He has admitted that out of fear, he dissected her body and extracted her intestine.
In a trending video posted to social media on Tuesday, the suspect explained how, out of fear, he tied up his Ex-girlfriend, dissected her body, and removed her intestine.
He added, “On Saturday, the deceased called me and said that she needed my help because I had been supporting her for a while. I invited her to come to my dad’s house.
The moment she got here, I offered her coke, but she did not even drink the coke when she slumped, and when she slumped I was scared, don’t know what to do and that’s what made me take the decision I later took”
The incident was confirmed by Mrs. Funmilayo Odunlami, Public Relations Officer for the Ondo State Police, who also noted that the deceased’s remains had been placed to a hospital morgue while an investigation was underway.
