Members of Rivers State Taskforce on illegal street trading and motor packs has allergyly gone on rampage at odili road Port Harcourt, smashing cars and destroying Vehicles.
According to sources, trouble started when officers who are saddled with removing of illegal road side structures and motor parks were reportedly on routine operation on Wednesday afternoon, but where resisted by a mechanic workshops owners , which resulted to clashes between both parties.
Africhome also gathered that, the task force officers were also seen shooting sporadically.
Efforts to speak with the Director General of the of the Rivers State Task Force on Illegal Street Trading and Motor Parks on the subject matter proved abortive as at the time of filing this report.
