Delta North Senator, Ned Nwoko has said that his actress wife, Regina Daniels must go for rehabilitation to tackle drug abuse and safeguard her well-being.
This was as the lawmaker said he wants her alive and healthy to raise their children.
Nwoko said this in an interview with newsmen on Sunday Speaking, stressing that the decision was necessary for the 25-year-old actress to be in the right state of mind to raise their two children.
According to the lawmaker, his stance followed a series of alarming toxicology reports indicating high levels of harmful substances in Daniels’ system.
He further stated that his wife’s calm personality had changed in recent months, as she began exhibiting violent and destructive behaviour, alongside recurring health crises.
“I want her alive and healthy, not just for me, but for our children.
“We have two young kids together, and they cannot fight for themselves, so I’m going to fight for them by safeguarding their mother.
“Many people have died of drug overdose, and if anything happens to her now, what will I tell her children tomorrow,” he asked.
