On Monday, hundreds of supporters flooded the parking lot of the New York hospital where rapper DMX is on life support.
The family of DMX, whose real name is Earl Simmons, asked for prayers as they hope for a miracle after the rapper reportedly suffered a heart attack some outlets have linked to a possible drug overdose.
We ask that you please keep Earl/DMX and us in your thoughts, wishes, and prayers as well as respect our privacy as we face these challenges,” his family said in a statement released this week.
He was still in a coma and breathing through a ventilator as of Sunday.
