Miss Queen Nwazuo, the late fiancee of Monday Bakor who was allegedly shot dead in Obigbo in Obigbo during the period of 24hr curfew and military operation in October would be buried this weekend.
Reports gathered the late Nwazuo whose marriage to Bakor was to be solemnized before the incident, would be buried in her home town, Asa in Abia State.
She was allegedly killed by a stray bullet fired by military officers during the Obigbo 24hrs curfew and died due to lack of emergency medical help.
The Rivers State Judicial Commission of Inquiry addressing acts of violence Brutality Murder and Violation of Fundamental Rights of citizens by the police had on Friday dismissed a petition seeking for justice on her behalf.
The panel hinged it’s decision on the ground that it was constrained by it’s mandate to entertain only Police matters and not those involving the military.
