Messi scored a free kick from about 25 yards in the 94th minute, to help his new team Inter Miami win 2-1 over Mexican club Cruz Azul on Friday night in the Leagues Cup.
Messi made his Leagues Cup debut when he came on as a substitute in the 54th minute.
He earned a free kick on the edge of the penalty area and expertly curled the game-winning goal into the top corner of the net.
