Manchester United suffered a double defensive blow after Lisandro Martinez has been sidelined for rest of the season and Raphael Varane was also ruled out for the next two weeks.
Both players were injured in Thursday’s 2-2 draw with Sevilla in the first leg of their Europa League quarter-final at Old Trafford, where United conceded two late own goals.

While Lisandro’s first season at United has sadly come to a premature end, it will remain a memorable one for the centre-back having made 45 club appearances whilst establishing himself as a firm fan favourite and helping the team to win the Carabao Cup.
