Michael Kayode has swapped Serie A for the Premier League after he completed a loan transfer to Brentford from Fiorentina.
The 20-year-old fullback has an option to make the transfer permanent at the end of the season.
Brentford sports director Paul Giles said Kayode fits the team’s style.
“Michael is a player who we believe will suit Brentford and the physical part of the Premier League very well,” he remarked.
“The deal structure allows us to integrate him into the squad and Premier League football before we look forward to making the signing permanent in the summer.”
