Actress Annie Wersching, who played Tess in the hit video game The Last of Us and starred in 37 episodes of the TV drama 2, has died at the age of 45.
Missouri-born Wersching launched her career in 2002 with an episode of Star Trek: Enterprise as Liana.

She has also appeared in television shows such as Frasier, Charmed, General Hospital, The Vampire Diaries and The Rookie.
Wersching is survived by her husband, Stephen, and three sons, Eddie, Ozzie and Archie, aged 12, nine and four.
