The Nigeria Supreme Court is expected to rule on the cases of the Labour Party and its presidential candidate, Peter Obi, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and its candidate, Atiku Abubakar, and the All Progressives Congress (APC) and its candidate, Bola Tinubu, on Thursday, October 26, 2023.
The PDP presidential candidate and his LP opponent have filed challenges against the Presidential Election Petition Tribunal (PEPT) verdict on Tinubu’s electoral victory on September 6.
On Wednesday, all parties concerned confirmed the court date.
On Monday, the Supreme Court reserved judgment on an appeal filed by Atiku and the PDP against the verdict of the Presidential Election Petition Court, which confirmed Tinubu’s victory in the February 25 presidential election.
