The nomination of Olayemi Cardoso as the official Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria was approved by the Nigerian Senate on Tuesday.
The nomination of four deputy governor candidates for the top bank was also approved by the Senate.
Emem Nnana Usoro, Muhammad Sani Abdullahi Dattijo, Philip Ikeazor, and Bala Bello have all been confirmed as deputy governors.Godswill Akpabio, Senate President, announced this at the Senate’s plenary session.
