Four person’s has been confirmed dead after a trailer knocks two vehicles Into Akpajo River in Eleme Local Government Area of Rivers State.
According to eyewitnesses, trailer loaded with a 40ft container fell on top of Aleto Bridge after knocking a Toyota Sienna mini van and Toyota Hilux off the bridge into the river.
Four persons are feared dead with only one surviving. The Rivers State Police Command is yet to confirm the number of casualties.
Eyewitnesses say rescue attempts are ongoing to pull out a Hilux van and a Siena car that was accidentally pushed into the Akpajo river in Eleme Local Government Area of Rivers State.
