JUST IN: Finland Authorities Arrest And Detain Simon Ekpa For Inciting Violence In South East

The Finnish Government has after concerted and sustained petitions, arrested Finland-based Nigerian government agent provocateur, Mr Simon Ekpa.

According to report published on Finnish local news platforms, obtained by Africhome the Finnish Central Criminal Police command, ordered the arrest of Simon Ekpa in his home in Lahti over his incitements of criminal terrorist attacks and fraudulent activities in Eastern Nigeria, and will be charged to court in earnest on Thursday, 21st November 2024.

“On Thursday, the police ordered Simon Ekpa to be detained with probable cause on suspicion of public incitement to commit a crime with terrorist intent.”

“One of the suspects Simon Ekpa, an activist from Lahti with a Nigerian background . In the past, it has been public knowledge that the police suspect him of the crime of collecting money.”

“Ekpa’s suspected crime would have taken place between August 23, 2021 and November 18, 2024 in Lahti, based on the district court’s coercive information.”

“The police suspect that the man has promoted his efforts from Finland with means that have led to violence against civilians and authorities as well as other crimes in the region of South-Eastern Nigeria. The man has carried out this activity, among other things, on his social media channels,” says the head of the investigation, crime commissioner Otto Hiltunen of the Central Criminal Police

Recall, that Mr Ekpa since 2021 after the kidnap and extraordinary rendition of the leader of the Indigenous People Of Biafra (IPOB) movement has been involved in destructive violent crimes in the South-East Nigeria masquerading under the veil of Biafra agitation to perpetrate his crimes at the behest of covert local and international sponsors.

His activities have been falsely pinned on the IPOB movement – who has stated its position as a non-violent group. However, IPOB has comprehensively debunked its involvement with Ekpa on multiple occasions through press statements and affirmations by its senior officials.

IPOB denounced Mr Ekpa as early as 2021 shortly after the tragic ordeal of its Leader in Kenya, and maintained that he, Simon, was never a registered member of global IPOB movement or the unit family member in his country of residence,  Finland.

Subsequently, Mr Ekpa was arrested in early 2023 by Finnish authorities but was later released. However, Mr Ekpa has been threatening residence of South East with destruction ahead of what he calls “Redeclaration of Biafra” in Finland on 2nd December 2024.
