The blast reportedly happened at a factory in an urban district of Panjin with a huge blaze ripping through the plant.
Africhome gathered that the firm Panjin Haoye Chemical Co Ltd has closed its refinery and whole complex after a huge blast killed five people, and left eight still missing.
The blast occurred as maintenance was being carried out on an alkylation facility at the Panjin Haoye Chemical Company.
