Spain defeated England 2-1 in the Euro 2024 final at Berlin’s Olympiastadion to earn the title of continental kings for a record-breaking fourth time.
La Roja were quick off the starting blocks in the second half and broke the deadlock through a neat finish by Nico Williams, with assistance from fellow offensive threat Lamine Yamal.

The first half had been cagey, with defenders coming out on top. But in the 73rd minute, England’s rising sensation Cole Palmer leveled the score with a spectacular goal.
Fortunately, Spain had their own outstanding substitute in Mikel Oyarzabal, who scored the game-winning goal late to give Spain the Henri Delaunay trophy back.
