After United appeared to have pulled off their own remarkable turnaround, Chelsea mounted a last-ditch comeback to defeat Manchester United 4–3, Cole Palmer scoring a hat trick to turn the game into a farce.

In the 10th minute of added time, however, with Chelsea appearing to be outmatched, Diogo Dalot brought down Noni Madueke in the box.
Following a suspenseful VAR check, Palmer scored his second goal of the game from the spot, leveling the score at 3-3.
Just one minute afterward, he unleashed a powerful drive that ricocheted off United midfielder Scott McTominay and found the back of the net, securing his 16th league goal of the year and infusing the home crowd with joy.
