Ahmed Isah, host of the Brekete Family, a popular show on Human Rights Radio and Television, widely known as “Ordinary President,” has confirmed that he has been summoned to appear before the Senate.

During a telephone interview with LEADERSHIP on Monday, Isah acknowledged the summons but clarified that it was being misinterpreted.

“It’s true, but not the way it is being misrepresented. On Wednesday, you will know why the National Assembly is asking me to come,” he stated.

Reports suggest that the summons is linked to a recent Brekete Family radio show broadcast, during which Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan aired her grievances against Senate President Godswill Akpabio.

During the Friday, February 21 live show, Isah attempted to call both Senator Akpoti-Uduaghan and Senate President Akpabio.

While Akpoti-Uduaghan answered and alleged that the Senate leadership was victimising her, Akpabio declined the call three times.

The details surrounding the summons remain unclear, but the development has sparked public interest. Many anticipate further revelations when Isah appears before the Senate on Wednesday.

Additionally, former Kaduna Central Senator Shehu Sani has condemned the Senate’s decision to summon Ahmed Isah.
