Akwa United FC has been crowned Champions of Nigeria Professional football League 2020/2021 season, after defecting MfM 5-2 at Godswill Akpabio international Stadium.

Akwa United FC was crowned champions after toping the NPFL table with total points of 71 after playing 37 marches, runners up where Nasarawa United with 62 points in second position and Eyimba Fc in third position with 62 points.
