The post has drawn a mixed response on social media: some users are celebrating the massive windfall, while others are sceptical pointing out that betPawa’s publicised payout limits may not match the figure, and questioning whether Tekno’s status as a brand ambassador for betPawa complicates the claim.
Neither Tekno nor betPawa have publicly confirmed the win or issued official documentation of the payout. The incident highlights growing tensions in Nigeria’s sports‑betting sector, where large claims can fuel both excitement and scrutiny over regulation, transparency and celebrity promotion.
