Countries suffering Covid outbreaks will have to play their Africa Cup of Nations matches even if they have only 11 players available according to new rules from confederation of African football (Caf).
The new guidelines from the Confederation of African Football (Caf) also  state that matches will still go ahead even if none of the 11 players is a goalkeeper.

Any nation unable to fulfil a fixture will forfeit the game 2-0.
AFCON 2022 begins on Sunday when hosts Cameron face Burkina Faso in Group A at 4pm GMT.
Organisers have also outlined that each team will be permitted to use a maximum of five substitutes, with a maximum of three opportunities to make substitutions during the game.
Where extra time is played, teams will each be allowed one additional substitution, and will have one additional substitution opportunity.
