This prestigious program supports students who wish to pursue a bachelor’s, master’s, or PhD degree at an accredited university across Australia. These scholarships are managed by the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT), which awarded approximately 1,151 Australia Awards Scholarships in 2025. There is no application fee. An additional benefit for successful candidates is the opportunity to remain in Australia for two years after completing their studies.
