Barcelona were crowned Spanish Super Cup champions as goals from Gavin, Robert Lewandowski and Pedri earned them a 3-1 victory over bitter rivals Real Madrid in Saudi Arabia on Sunday.
Barcelona, who gave Xavi his first trophy as coach of the Catalan club, dominated every aspect of the game and capitalized on Real Madrid mistakes to win.

The LaLiga leaders took the lead in the 33rd minute when Real defender Antonio Rudiger ran through his area to Barça’s Sergio Busquets, who completed a move that ended with Gavi alone in the box scoring with an accurate left-footer.
Lewandowski extended Barcelona lead 12 minutes later when Frenkie de Jong found Gavin, who ghosted behind the Real defense before laying it on a plate for the Polish striker, who tapped it into an empty net.
