The Nigerian Army on Tuesday morning invaded Bille Kingdom in the Degema Local Government Area of Rivers State, harassing, and conducting mass arrests over alleged Killing Of two Soldiers by Sea Pirates.
Videos obtained by Africhome News Team show Nigeria soldiers trying to forcibly access homes in the community.
They also show as some residents were arrested by military personnel.
EYE WITNESS REPORT ON THE BILLE INVASION BY NIGERIA ARMY.
“I was informed this morning about the incident in Bille Community in Degema Local government area of Rivers State. On Sunday 4th Sept a group of pirates attacked women of the community, community boys took up arms and climbed a boat going after these pirates of which they got, freed their women and killed all pirates, coming back they were accosted by the Nigerian Army who opened fire at them, with no choice they opened theirs and killed all military on board.
As I write the Army is conducting a raid in Bille Community avenging their lost soldiers and armories.”
They have burnt down 15 houses in Touma Community, Bille Kingdom, Degema LGA, Rivers State where this incident took place.
