Subscribers of mtn, Glo, Airtel and 9mobile had been block from either receiving or making calls as Federal Government of Nigeria has directed telecommunication companies to bar all outgoing calls on unlinked lines (SIMs not yet registered and linked with the National Identification Number (NIN) from on the 4/4/2022, NCC and NIMC, disclosed this in a joint statement.
Meanwhile the Association of Licensed Telecommunication Operators of Nigeria (ALTON) says its members will comply with President Muhammadu Buhari regime’s order to block phone lines of subscribers yet to link the National Identification Number (NIN) with their SIM.
