Some unknown gunmen dressed in Police Uniform this Wednesday morning has robbed a Automated Teller Machine at the motor park in Rivers State University, Port Harcourt.
The robbery incident took place at about 3am this morning and reports have it that the gunmen carried out the operation successfully without any resistance from the security operatives stationed at the school’s Main Gate.
According to eyewitness reports, the gunmen dressed in Nigerian Police uniform ordered the School security personnel on duty to open the gate.
From there, the armed men went straight to the Polaris Bank, tied up the shuttle drivers who slept at the park as well as the security personnel guarding the ATM.
The management of Polaris Bank is yet to disclose the amount of money that was lost after the robbery incident.
The gunmen also went away with the a shuttle belonging to one of the drivers who slept at the park.
