Police say six people, including a young child, have died in a mass shooting in Plymouth, UK.
In a press conference on Friday, Devon and Cornwall police confirmed that two men, two women and a child had been killed in a mass shooting on Thursday evening, before the suspect turned the gun on himself.

No one else is being sought over the incident, which is not being treated as terror-related.
Police full statements: “On arrival – 2 females & 2 males deceased at the scene. A further male, believed to be offender, also deceased at the scene. All believed to have died from gunshot wounds. Another female treated at the scene… died a short time later in hospital.

All of the next of kin of the deceased have been located and informed by Devon & Cornwall Police officers.”
Devon & Cornwall Police would stress this is not a terrorism related incident. The area has been cordoned off and police are not looking for anyone else in connection with the incident.
“Investigations are continuing into the incident and disruption to the road network in the Keyham will remain.”
Police “continue to ask any members of the public with mobile phone footage of the immediate aftermath of the incident not to post this on social media platforms and to respect those families who have lost loved ones…”
Meanwhile Devon and Cornwall Police chief constable says gunman Jake Davison ‘was responsible for shooting of a woman at an then shot and killed a very young girl and a male relative of the girl…and then shot two local residents…and a man and a woman who died. Then turned the gun upon himself.’.

‘There are some 13 scenes…there are five Plymouth people who have lost their life plus Mr Davison himself, including a particularly young child’
