At least 64 people have been killed in a fire at a COVID ward of a hospital in Iraq.

It is the second deadly blaze to hit a COVID unit in three months

Police said an oxygen tank explosion was the probable cause of the fire in a coronavirus ward in Iraq Monday night.

The death toll climbed to nearly 100 as anger mounts over safety at Iraq’s hospitals.

In April, at least 82 people died at a hospital in Baghdad after an oxygen tank exploded.
