Department of State Services, Thursday, confirmed that its operatives carried out a midnight raid on the residence of Yoruba rights activist, Sunday Adeyemo, better known as Sunday Igboho, in the Soka area of Ibadan Oyo State.

Briefing newsmen on the operation on Thursday night, DSS spokesperson, Peter Afunanya urged Igboho to report himself to the nearest police station.

He said no one is above the law of the land, while adding that those apprehended at his residence would be charged to court.
The secret police also paraded no fewer than 12 suspects arrested during the joint operation.

Some of the items allegedly carted away from his house include passports, charms, guns and dollars.
