The most married man in the world has died.
Ziona Chana is survived by 39 wives and 94 children.He died at the age of 76 in his native India.
He and his family lived in a four-story house in a village in the state of Mizoram, on the Indian border with Myanmar.Mr. Chana is the head of a Christian congregation that allows polygamy.He married his first wife when he was 17 years old.
Africhome gathered that, Ziona Chana, passed away on Sunday at a private hospital in Mizoram’s capital city Aizawl.
According to his family members, Ziona Chana had been sick since June 7 and was unable to eat anything. He was suffering from some health issues as well, including diabetes and high blood pressure.
Ziona Chana become unconscious on June 11 and doctors told the family members that he needed blood immediately.
He was brought to Aizawl from Baktawng village and admitted at Trinity hospital at around 2:50 pm on Sunday. He passed away at 3 pm.
