Serious Clash between the Fulani’s and the Nigeria Police, Enugu State Command, at the New Artisan’s Market Enugu State.
On the 22nd of April 2021 the Nigeria police were on the move to evict the Fulani’s cattle traders and some other unapproved businesses that has been going on within the suspended market area at the new Artisan Enugwu, but the Fulani’s over there, disagreed with the Enugwu state’s government, on a peaceful exit from that environment, which resulted to their exchange of power with the police.
This issues, has now materialized to serious attacks on some passersby, commuters, burning and destroying of vehicles and other properties within the area.
We are calling on the Enugwu state’s government, religious leaders, media houses and other concerned citizens of the state to come and bear us witness.
