Pandemonium broke out in Aba on Tuesday, after Ven Julius Dike, the priest in charge of St. Paul’s Anglican Church, Faulks Road, Aba was found dead with his wife and maid at their residence inside the church compound.

The police has ordered for an autopsy on their bodies, the priest and his wife with their maid were believed to be poisoned as they had eaten same meal before retiring to bed the previous night after attending attending a revival crusade held in the church.
The clergy’s four sons were said to be away at school when the incident happened.
According to sources the clergy may have been eliminated because of some power tussle in the parish where he has only recently resumed duty.
Our source said, “I was at home because I live within Ariaria when the news broke that the priest in-charge of St Paul’s and his household were poisoned to death, yesterday.
I really felt bad because I have sat under the ministration of this great man. He is gentle, soft-spoken and affable.”Anybody who is responsible for the demise of the Dikes will know no peace.
They have succeeded in rendering their sons orphans. What if universities didn’t call of strike and those guys had remained at home? I wonder what would have happened.
This once again depicts how man can be a wolf to his fellow man. They will never go unpunished. They won’t!”
