The U.S. Capitol is on lockdown as supporters of Pres. Trump are storming the building, demanding Congress overturn the votes of the Electoral College.
Debates on the House and Senate floors have gone into recess due to protesters entering the building and VP Pence has been rushed out of the Senate chamber and reportedly taken out of the building through underground tunnels by Secret Service. Hours ago, Trump directed thousands of supporters to march on the Capitol and demand the election be overturned.
