Two persons earlier today died in strange circumstances at the the Refinery Junction axis of Eleme Local Government Area.City News learnt that one of the deceased, a woman in her 60s, dropped dead after alighting from a commercial motorcycle near.
The second casualty, according to our source, was a man of about 70 years old who reportedly dropped dead as he disembarked from a commercial vehicle that brought him from Bori.
It is unclear what is responsible for their sudden deaths and if they are in any way connected.
Our source reports that the son of the 70-year-old who was contacted through his phone later came and with the help of sympathizers at the scene took the corpse away.
The son reportedly said the deceased had gone to Eleme to withdraw money at a bank.
As at the time of filing this report, no one had come forward to identify the deceased woman or take her corpse away several hours after she dropped dead.
