Nigeria has recorded its highest daily tally of 930 fresh coronavirus infections, pushing the total number of cases to 75, 062.
In a post on its website, the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC, also announced that the number of coronavirus-related deaths had topped 1,200.
The Centre said some of the new cases were 279 in Lagos; 179 in the FCT; and 38 in Rivers.
The NCDC also announced that 66, 775 patients have been discharged so far in the 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory.
