An unconfirmed number of persons have allegedly lost their lives while others injured due to stampede during an End of Year ceremony organized by INK Nation, a networking company located in Port Harcourt Rivers, to appreciate it’ members.
Africhome News Team gathered that the incident caused heavy traffic gridlock from Omega House Axis of Rumuodara, where the stampede happened, to Eliozu Flyover.
Members of the networking company had earlier in the day thronged the Zone 2 Inksmarket center at TII AMA GALAXY East West Road in their numbers to receive benefit arrears and end of year palliatives from the company then people starting rushing, which resulted to the stamped.
An eyewitness, who identified herself simply as Blessing, said hundreds of registered members of the platform were struggling to gain access to the office, which resulted in the stampede.
