Uganda’s President Yoweri Museveni has warned that his government will not tolerate hooliganism and promised to crush opposition supporters who are demanding the release of popular musician and presidential aspirant Bobi Wine.

Police arrested the musician, real name Robert Kyagulanyi for violating Coronavirus guidelines while on the campaign trail.
His arrest led to protests that have left sixteen people dead and hundreds arrested. Observers say Museveni is afraid of Bobi Wine’s popularity among the youth ahead of next year’s presidential election.
