The fact-finding committee of the Nigeria Bar Association on Oyigbo unrest says the alleged killings in Oyigbo be included in the cases to be handled by the State Judicial Panel of Inquiry on police brutality.
The First Vice President of the NBA, John Aikpokpo-Martins, made the call after the committee cancelled its public hearing slated to hold yesterday in the area, citing security reasons.
Barr. Martins said the NBA will provide free legal services for affected Oyigbo residents.
He however, advocated that the NBA be allowed to monitor the proceedings of the panel when the Oyigbo saga is accommodated.
